After an incredible performance in the 2nd ODI against South Africa, Ishan Kishan won everyone's heart, including that of legendary speedster Dale Steyn who praised the southpaw for his shot-making ability.

Steyn, who was influential for the Proteas in his prime days, was in awe of the big hitter from Jharkhand. Kishan's 93-run knock at his home ground Ranchi caught everyone's eye as he smashed express pacer Anrich Nortje for some gigantic sixes all over the park.

While being in the limelight, Kishan is touted to be a great future asset for Men in Blue, however, there is one person in the team that he might replace if he continues to be out of touch.

Pant should be worried: Steyn

Steyn, while complimenting Kishan, issued a caution to Indian first-choice wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant who is experiencing a dip in form in the shortest format. His credentials in recent times haven't been impressive, and the pacer expressed his concern over his form.

He has asked Pant to be 'worried' about his place in the side, which could be grabbed by the Mumbai Indians' star. He said,

"A 100 percent. I actually played with him a bit way back in the IPL. He seemed like a baby. We nicknamed him Justin Bieber because he was like this absolute rockstar. I've watched him go and get better. For a short and small man, he packs an incredible punch.

"These sixes odd Nortje aren't small. They're pure timing and muscle. And just the ability to recognise when to take on the bowler... he is a great player and guys in that Indian team... Rishabh Pant should be worried that someone is coming for his spot."

Pant will next be seen in action in the upcoming T20 World Cup slated to be held in Australia, with India's first match against their arch-nemesis Pakistan on 23rd October.
