After being smashed 214 runs by the power-house Punjab Kings (PBKS) side, visiting Mumbai Indians (MI) team made a mockery of the total as they finished the game with seven balls to spare courtesy of two special innings from Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav. Both batters stitched a 116-run partnership for the third wicket to take the game away from Punjab.

After the game, Ishan had a chat while receiving his player of the match award where he mentioned that he was prepared to go all in with the shot if he gets one in his radar.

Further, the big-hitter who thumped four maximums said that he got clear instructions from the management to smash everything as his mindset is not to think about the target.

"I know but the wicket was good for batting. I kept the wickets for 20 overs and I knew how it was playing. So I knew what to do exactly. I went with the clear mindset that if anything is in my arc I would go for it.

Adding to this, the left-hander credited his mother for providing him with the perfect diet which has helped him to stay fit.

"The message from the coaches was simple and they said to watch the ball and hit the ball. It doesn't matter what is the target. Whether it's 215 or anything it doesn't matter. We had such a run chase earlier and we finished it as well. I train really hard and work hard on my fitness as well. The credit goes to my mom's food."

Ishan and Mumbai will next be taking on the Chennai Super Kings at MA Chidambaram Stadium on 6th May.
