Chennai Super Kings captain and a household name - MS Dhoni - has openly confessed that the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League would not be last season as a player in the lucrative league. The legendary cricketer announced his intentions at the toss before Wednesday's clash against Lucknow Super Giants.

While talking to Danny Morrison during the coin flip, Dhoni spoke his mind when the former New Zealand cricketer asked about his retirement plans.

"Ahh... You have decided that this is my last season (MS Dhoni chuckles) but not me," the 41-year-old keeper-batter stated.

There is a perception going around in fans' minds about the former Indian captain retiring from all forms of cricket after the conclusion of this IPL season. And as a result, Dhoni is getting reception from loud crowds wherever he and CSK are travelling.

Meanwhile, the Super Kings are playing as if it is their Thala's final season, as all the players are giving it all on the field. After nine games this season, CSK are in the fourth position with five wins and four losses. And if they beat Lucknow in Lucknow, they would jump slots north.
