Even before the first Test began yesterday, Australian media had been making nothing but white noise around the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. Brushing aside talks about pitches in India, Australian media have raised their doubts over the technology used in the Nagpur Test.

Fox Cricket, in their shared video, questioned the ball-tracking technology after a DRS appeal against Usman Khawaja off Mohammed Siraj was overturned in Team India's favour.

Former Indian player and batting coach Sanjay Bangar, speaking to Star Sports, has lashed out at the Australian media, who cannot digest the hosts' success on Day 1.

Here's what Bangar said

"Well I am not on Twitter. But in India-Australia series you have to be in touch with what is happening around the globe. Some media from Australia saying that the ball tracker (is) broken and they are not happy with the DRS. And now that's crying, all these. They can't digest the fact that the Indian team has dominated on Day 1."

After Day 1, sections of the Australian media accused India's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja of ball-tampering, these calls were shunned away by the match referee on Day 2.

At the time of writing, Captain Rohit and Jadeja are helping India push the first-innings lead. The skipper is notched a remarkable century and he has got a firm partner in Jadeja to help India reach 224-5.
