Cameron Green Talks About His Scintillating Maiden Century Against India

It was another infuriating day for the Indian side after Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green took the responsibility of taking Australia to an intimidating total. Khawaja has been terrific in the game where he struck an outstanding 180 while his partner Green knocked up his maiden hundred.

The young all-rounder brought his first ton in international cricket batting against the tough Indian in scorching Ahmedabad heat. After the game, Green was asked about the expectations and he was quick to quip that it's nice to get the monkey off the back.

The right-hander missed the first two matches of the series as he was recovering from an injury. But as soon as he made a comeback, the pacer made his presence felt.

He further mentioned that it was an outstanding wicket to bat on as his shots were connecting well throughput the innings.

"You feel more like a Test cricketer when you've got that monkey off your back, so it is nice to tick that off in a way. It's so special,"

"What Travis Head does against the new ball, he is aggressive. Sometimes, the batters can bug you down, and probably can score more runs with the new ball. It's a very good wicket. Maybe, if you can get hit for a couple of beautiful shots. Maybe we gotta go for some holding roles with the ball tomorrow and let the spinners do the job."

India batted in the last session scoring 36 runs without losing any wicket.
