One of the hottest cricketing topics of late has been Jonny Bairstow's controversial run out during the Lord's Test on Day 5 in the ongoing Ashes 2023 series. Bairstow's dismissal has invited polarising views from current and former Test players, who have been quite vocal on social media.

England pacer Stuart Broad, who was in the thick of things on Day 5, ended up engaging in a conversation with wicket-keeper Alex Carey on the field; in his article stated that the Australian will be only remembered for his unfair dismissal.

In response, former India leg-spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan took a jibe at the English pacer, mentioned that Broad will be remembered for getting hit for six sixes in an over by India's Yuvraj Singh during the inaugural edition of ICC T20 World Cup in 2007.

Singh slammed Broad for 36 runs in the second-last over of India's innings against England in a Group E match.

Here's what Sivaramakrishnan Tweeted

"Stuart Broad will be remembered for getting hit for six sixes in an over by Yuvraj Singh."

Interestingly, it was last year, that Jasprit Bumrah struck Broad for 35 runs in a single over during the Edgbaston Test, which is a world record for most runs in an over in red-ball cricket.

Regardless, the 37-year-old has played 164 Tests, 121 ODIs, and 56 T20Is for England since 2006, scalping over 836 wickets combined.
