Arjun Tendulkar to Make His IPL Debut for MI vs KKR?

Tendulkar is a prevalent surname in cricket. From Sachin Tendulkar to Arjun Tendulkar, Mumbai Indians have seen a generation shift. The Mumbai team bought the former as their icon player ahead of the inaugural edition in 2008, and now his son has been with the five-time champions from 2021 at INR 20 lakh.

However, Arjun hasn't got his first-go in the lucrative league yet. Ahead of this edition, it was reported that the left-arm seaming all-rounder would start off for MI in their campaign opener, but that didn't happen.

But, if reports are meant to be true, then Arjun will end his not-featuring in the starting XI streak against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium.

The most successful franchise in the IPL got a hefty blow even before the start of the season when their star seamer Jasprit Bumrah got ruled out. Without Bumrah, the onus was put on the yielding shoulders of Jofra Archer. However, after one game in IPL 2023, Archer sustained a niggle, putting salts on MI's injuries.

Under Rohit Sharma's astute leadership, Mumbai bagged their maiden victory against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday, and they would like to continue their winning momentum against KKR on Sunday.
