Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced the appoitnment of Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), which will select the new selection panel for the Indian cricket.

The three member committee includes former selector Ashok Malhotra, Jatin Paranjape and Sulakshana Naik.Malhotra has represented India in 7 Tests and 20 ODIs, while Paranjape has played 4 times for the country in ODI cricket. Naik has played 46 ODIs, 2 Tests and 31 T20Is for India.

In the wake of India's exit from the T20 World Cup last month, the previous selection panel, led by Chetan Sharma was sacked by the BCCI, and now the board is on the hunt for a new selection panel.

CAC alongside BCCI will finalise the selection committee eventually. With CAC appointed, the process of getting new selectors on board will surely pick up pace.
