Taskin Ahmed ruled out of ODI series opener against India

Bangladesh suffers a massive blow as Taskin Ahmed is ruled out of the first match of the three-match ODI series against India. The pacer complained of recurring back pain. The pace attack leader was vital for the Tigers considering his brilliant form. As of now, Shoriful Islam has been called in as the back-up in the ODI squad. 

BCB Chief selector breaks the news

"Taskin is ruled out from the opening game of the ODIs as his back pain recurred, we will be seeing his progress before taking further decision regarding his participation."

"We are waiting for Tamim's scan report. He had a groin injury and physician asked him to have a scan to take a decision about his availability."
