India might be having a tough time in the field against Australia in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 at The Oval, but that does not deter Indian fans not to flock the ground in huge numbers, and witness their favourite players in action. Day 2 on Thursday, however, had a surprise in store for Team India, as American YouTube sensation IShowSpeed aka Darren Watkins Jr.showed at The Oval wearing a Kohli limited-overs jersey, showcasing his support for Team India.

India started Day 2 on the front foot, restricting Australia to 469. With the onus shifting on the Indian batting line-up, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Kohli faltered, as Pat Cummins and Co. gained command on the match. Ravindra Jadeja's 51-ball 48 helped India cross the 100-run mark, with able support from Ajinkya Rahane.

India ended Day 2 on 151 for 5, trailing Australia by 318 runs, and needing 118 runs to avoid the follow-on.

IShowSpeed is a self-confessed Cristiano Ronaldo fan but is often seen praising Kohli in all his reaction videos regarding Team India. The internet sensation is mostly famous for reacting to sporting videos, in his quirky and loud style.

Watkins was seen taking a photo with former India spinner Harbhajan Singh, who was present in the vicinity doing commentary.

Speaking of IShowSpeed's favourite player Kohli, the former India captain scored just 14 runs before a rising delivery from Mitchell Starc took a deflection off the bat and the gloves, to find Steven Smith's safe hands at second slip.

IShowSpeed was awarded 'Breakout Streamer of the Year' in 2022, after gaining substantial fame between 2021-2022. The Ohio-born streamer started off his YouTube channel for gaming content but soon evolved into a reaction channel.

Watkins currently has 16.9 million subscribers on YouTube and 1,200 videos uploaded on his channel.
