Team India is known to produce miracles out of nowhere. The win at the Gabba was a prime example of it. They once again need miraculous knocks from somewhere to save the WTC final as Australia have set a target of 444 to win the WTC Final/

With almost 1.5 days left in the Test match (plus the reserve day if needed), India have a daunting task on their hands, and the batters have an uphill battle to climb.

Alex Carey stretches Australia's lead past 400

With the early wicket of Marnus Labuschagne, India saw a small ray of hope, but that was dashed away by a resilient Alex Carey, who just loves to take the fight to the opposition.

Of-course, luck played a major role in his innings, and the southpaw was beaten a number of times, but he fought hard and got an able partner in Mitchell Starc, as the duo helped the lead cross the 400-run mark.

Carey did ride his luck, especially with the ball flying between the slip fielders a number of times, but he made up for it with a calculative knock that has put Australia in a winning position.

Jadeja, the lone warrior for India

Jadeja created the rough on the pitch just outside the off-stump and kept on bowling at that mark. But the luck was not with him as both Carey and Starc were beaten numerous times, but found a way to tackle the lone Indian spinner.

Jadeja finished as India's highest wicket-taker in the innings, with figures of 3 for 58.
