The RCB Women kicked off the season with a nail-biting two-run victory over UP Warriorz Women, followed by a commanding win against Gujarat Giants, where they won by 8 wickets.

The team’s captain, Smriti Mandhana, shone brightly in their last match, showcasing her exceptional talent with the bat with a wide range of strokes. 

Additionally, Renuka Singh and Sophie Molineux’s outstanding performances have been crucial in their success. 

The team will now aim to extend their winning streak to three matches.

Delhi Capitals Women

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals Women faced a setback in their opening match against the reigning champions, Mumbai Indians Women, losing by 4 wickets in a high-scoring affair. However, they quickly regained their form, crushing UP Warriorz by 9 wickets in their subsequent match.

The opening duo of Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma played instrumental roles in the victory, both hitting impressive fifties. 

The bowling department, led by Marizanne Kapp and Radha Yadav, who collectively took seven wickets in the match, effectively limited UP to 119/9, setting the stage for a comfortable win. 

The Capitals will look to take the winning momentum against RCB and secure a win.
