Just when the West Indies side were going strong against the home team Ireland in the second ODI in Dublin, rain god decided to ruin the fun as it arrived after the conclusion of the West Indies innings and things could turn worse with the weather predictions not looking good for the day.

The Windies posted a mammoth 352/8 and Ireland had a tough task on their hands, however, rain played spoilsport. Here's what the Dublin weather holds for the rest of the day.

Dublin weather updates for WI Vs IRE Match

As per Accuweather, there is prediction for rain with 86 percent probability of rain for the rest of the day. Hence, there is a great chance that the game could be abandoned.

The average temperature is around 16 degrees celsius, and with the drainage system at the stadium not so good, there is little chance that the second innings could resume and the match could get abandoned.

Keacy Carty's century propels Windies to massive total

Keacy Carty, the elegant batter showed his class against the Irish bowlers and played a blinder as the batter slammed 102 off 109 balls to set the foundation for a big total.

Interestingly, there were contributions from almost everyone, especially the lower order as some quick-fire 40s propelled them to a massive 352/8. However, before the Irish innings, rain god arrived and as per the forecast it is highly unlikely the game gets completed.
