The second Test of the five match series between India and Australia kicks off on December 6 at the Adelaide Oval. India come into this game with a lot of confidence after their dominant 295-run victory in the first Test. They will look to continue their strong form and take a bigger lead in the series. On the other hand, Australia are known for its strong record in day-night Tests and will rely on their experience to bounce back and even the series on their home ground.

Sarfaraz Khan Likely To Be Rested

As for Sarfaraz Khan, he was left out of the first Test, and it looks like he won't be playing in the second one either. Sarfaraz, who is a star batter, played in the warm-up match against Australia's Prime Minister’s XI, but only scored 1 run off 4 balls in his innings.

Due to rain on the first day of the warm-up, India didn't get much practice, but the match was adjusted to 46 overs a side on the second day, which gave the team some game time. Harshit Rana impressed with figures of 4 for 44, helping India win the game by 6 wickets

It has been understood that Sarfaraz Khan will not be part of the playing XI for this Pink-Ball Test.

India (Probable XI): KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (wk), Rohit Sharma (c), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar, Harshit Rana, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj
