The third T20I between India and West Indies has brought some smiles back in the Indian dressing room as they managed to dominate West Indies in a comprehensive 7-wicket win. India's struggling batting group finally came to the party, especially Suryakumar Yadav and that ensured and there were no hiccups in India's run-chase of 160, the highest in the series so far.

Kuldeep Yadav's Crafty Turners Restrict Windies To A Par-Score

Rovman Powell, the Windies skipper won the toss and decided to bat first in a hope that his batters will put a big score on the board. His openers did start well and notched up a 55-run opening stand. However, Axar who did not bowl a single over in the last game, got the big wicket of Mayers and then Kuldeep bowled a superb spell in the middle overs to keep Windies in check.

Kuldeep first got the wicket of Charles and then the dangerous duo of Pooran and King were sent back in a single over, to put India ahead in the game. However, skipper Powell continued the fight and smashed some lusty blows in the death overs to take West Indies to 159 with his action-packed 40 off 19 balls.

The MI-Duo Set The Ball Rolling For India

In reply, India lost both the openers early as Yashasvi Jaiswal failed to impress on his debut. The duo of Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma got together in the 5th over with India 34-2 and produced a brilliant counter-attacking stand.

Suryakumar Yadav especially was brutal and showed his full range with a fantastic 83 off 44 balls. He did not let any West Indies bowler settle and by the time, Joseph got the wicket of Yadav in the 13th over of the game, the match was almost done and dusted. Skipper Pandya walked out to bat after SKY's dismissal and along with Tilak Varma, finished the game in style to keep India alive in this five-match T20I series. It's the end of the Caribbean leg and now the action shifts to Florida, USA for the last two games of this tour
