Bangladesh roared their way into the history books by pulling off their first-ever T20I whitewash over West Indies with a massive 80-run win in the third and final T20I in Kingstown, St Vincent on Friday. It was a match filled with fireworks, stumbles, and a whole lot of dominance from the visitors.

Here’s the timeline of how WI vs BAN 3rd T20I panned out in Kingstown-

WI vs BAN 3rd T20I Highlights: Emon Hossain Gets Bangladesh Off to A Flyer

Bangladesh skipper Litton Das won the toss and decided to bat on a pitch that looked tailor-made for big scores. Emon Hossain wasted no time setting the tone as he smashed a quick 39 to get the innings off to a flying start. However, Litton himself couldn’t cash in, falling for a modest 14.

But the runs kept flowing, with Bangladesh keeping the scoreboard ticking despite losing wickets here and there. The platform was set, and all they needed was a big finish.

WI vs BAN 3rd T20I Highlights: Jaker Ali Lights Up Kingstown

Enter Jaker Ali, who had a lucky break when the West Indies fielders gave him a lifeline. And he made them pay. With an eye for gaps and a hunger for runs, Jaker smashed an unbeaten 72 off just 41 balls, sending the ball to all corners of the park.

Thanks to his heroics, Bangladesh posted a massive 189/7, the highest T20I total ever at this venue. While Romario Shepherd picked up 2/30, the rest of the West Indies bowlers struggled to make an impact.

WI vs BAN 3rd T20I Highlights: West Indies Top-Order Crumbles Under Pressure

The Windies’ chase started off like a nightmare. Brandon King fell for a duck, and the rest of the top order wasn’t much better. By the 7th over, half the team was back in the dugout, with no one stepping up to steady the ship.

Big names like Nicholas Pooran, Johnson Charles, and Roston Chase couldn’t deliver, leaving the home crowd in stunned silence. Poor shot selection and a lack of intent meant the Windies never really got going, staring down a mountain of runs with no plan to climb it.

WI vs BAN 3rd T20I Highlights: Rishad Hossain Spins Bangladesh To Glory

While the Windies’ middle order tried to put up a fight, it was too little, too late. Romario Shepherd was the only batter to show some resistance by scoring a fighting 33 off 27 balls.

Bangladesh’s bowlers, led by the brilliant Rishad Hossain, made short work of the tail. But with no support from the other end, the writing was on the wall.

Rishad’s 3/21 was the standout performance, as the Tigers bowled out the West Indies for a paltry 109, their second-lowest T20I total against Bangladesh.
