In the 19th match of the Indian Premier League 2025, SRH are up against GT and both teams would be itching to get two crucial points on the board. It is an important game, especially for SRH who are coming into this game with three consecutive losses, and as they are playing at home, we can expect them to come out all guns blazing.
Washington Sundar Makes Debut For GT
The GT bowlers would have to be on top and they have made one tactical change with Washington Sundar coming in for Arshad Khan. The reason for his inclusion is that SRH have lot of left-handers in their batting line-up, especially at the top, and Sundar can be used in the powerplay with his off-spin.
He is also a reliable batter and can bat anywhere in the order which makes him a good choice over Arshad Khan. Also, SRH is Washington Sundar's previous IPL team, so he knows the franchise and the ground, and it could help him in this game.
SRH, on the other hand, have brought in Jaydev Unadkat in place of Harshal Patel, who is out due to illness. GT have won two out of their three matches, and played quality cricket against RCB in the last match, so expect this one to be another intense affair between two quality teams.
