On Saturday, April 5, Chennai Super Kings locked horns against Delhi Capitals at the Chepauk stadium. The hype for the much-awaited clash was overshadowed by MS Dhoni's retirement rumours. 

Notably, the fans spotted MS Dhoni's parents on the ground as they marked a rare appearance. It led to the fans speculating that MSD might have played his farewell match. 

MS Dhoni Refutes Retirement Claim With Latest Act

However, in the post-match, MSD didn't make any announcement. Further, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming too denied any retirement claims as he remarked that MSD isn't going anywhere. 

In the latest events, a video has gone viral on the internet where thala arrived in Chandigarh alongside the rest of the CSK squad, refuting all retirement claims. 

It is worth noting that CSK will next face PBKS at the Mullunpur Stadium on April 8. 

MS Dhoni's Podcast Clip Goes Viral

It is tough for MSD to stay away from the headlines as he again hogged the internet after a quote and video of his went viral where he spoke about playing IPL till 44. Notably, the 43-year-old can be heard saying that he will decide on his future after the end of IPL 2025.

For the unversed, MS Dhoni is soon going to make his podcast debut as he has shot an interview with influencer Raj Shamani. However, the quote and the video that has been circulating on social media isn't something that Dhoni said after DC match.  It is worth noting that the interview was shot a few weeks ago and MSD spoke about his future around that time.
