Punjab Kings are up against Delhi Capitals in the match 66 of IPL 2025 in Jaipur. A win in this game would help them strengthen their chances of finishing in top-2, and they will bat first as Faf du Plessis decided to bowl first after winning the toss.

Praveen Dubey Likely To Make His Punjab Kings' Debut vs DC

Punjab Kings have made some interesting changes to their line-up, with Marcus Stoinis and Josh Inglis back in the playing XI. Yuzvendra Chahal has not been included in the final XI though, and he is also not named in the Impact Players list. Thus, he would not be playing this game, and though there is no clarity on the reason of his exclusion, it could be an unknown injury.

Chahal's hot and cold form can also be the reason, as the leggie has not been able to deliver with consistency like he normally does in IPL. However, he has won them games in the matches where he has got it right, thus his omission is most probably because of an injury.

Punjab have named Praveen Dubey in the Impact Players list, and he is most likely to bowl his leg-breaks in the second half. Praveen Dubey has previously played for Delhi Capitals in IPL, and has picked one wicket in four matches. Yuzvendra Chahal's absence will be a big loss for Punjab Kings though, as he has lot of experience of bowling in Jaipur because of his association with Rajasthan Royals in the previous cycle.
