Dhoni's Yellove Army is at the bottom of the table, and need to win desperately, and they have now made a bold move of bringing in Ravichandran Ashwin as an Impact player over the more preferred and expected option Anshul Kamboj.

The move to bring Ravichandran Ashwin as an Impact Player is the result of how the pitch behaved in the first innings. The ball is sticking on the surface and finger spinners got good help with Mitchell Santner bowling three overs for just 14 runs and one wicket to his name. Santner is a tall bowler and it helped him get extra bounce off the pitch, and Ashwin can also utilise the same in the second innings.
