After another heart-breaking loss for the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), this time against Kolkata Knight Rides (KKR), their skipper Shikhar Dhawan has expressed his frustration on his side for not being able to capitalise on tense moments in the game.

Dhawan scored a crucial 57 when wickets kept falling at the other end and with some late surge from Shahrukh Khan, their team somehow managed to reach 179 by the completion of their innings. However, some poor bowling led to the total being chased down on the final delivery.

Shikhar spoke during the post-match presentation and revealed that he is feeling frustrated after not being able to seal the game. While praising Arshdeep Singh for an incredible last over but pointed out that they don't have a good off-spinner in their side which is hurting their side.

"Feels bad, of course not feeling great, we lost the match. Not an easy track to bat on, felt that we had a good total. In the end, they played well. It was a great effort from Arshdeep, the way he has bounced back from the last game. All credit to him that he took the game to the last ball. I feel we don’t have a good off-spinner, that is where we are leaking a bit of runs when left-handers come in. This wicket was offering turn as well, that is where we took the hit."

Moving on from this game, Punjab Kings will next travel to Delhi as they face the Capitals on 13th May.
