Yuzvendra Chahal, who was left out from India's squad for the Asia Cup and World Cup 2023, has made his County Championship debut for Kent. On his debut, Chahal has picked up three wickets so far and made his mark on English soil. 

It was a surprise exclusion from the Indian team, as has been a regular member of the Indian team for over five years. But he has missed out on many tournaments to keep the right set of playing combination.

His best friend, Kuldeep Yadav, has got the chance in both the Asia Cup and the upcoming World Cup due to his exceptional form. 

Rather than staying away from the game, Chahal decided to play in the County Championship, and Kent Cricket accepted his signing. Although he will be playing just the remaining three games of the season, it's good for him to utilise this time.

As you can see, this was a dream delivery for any leg-spinner. The ball turned sharply away from the batter right from the front of his defence and knocked off the off stump. He could not have asked for a better start than this on his debut for Kent. 

His team still needs a couple of wickets to bowl out Nottinghamshire, and the leggie has already picked three wickets. It will be interesting to see if he gets a fifer and makes his debut memorable.
