When on song, there is no better player in sight than Nicholas Pooran and he once again proved his worth in the ongoing clash Vs Punjab Kings at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. The home side was in a spot of bother, but that didn't affect Pooran's batting as he toyed with the Punjab bowlers.

Pooran makes grown up man cry

He was particularly severe on Yuzvendra Chahal and tried to make a mockery of the bowler. In one particular instance, Chahal tossed one up as Pooran was ready for the charge. 

He cleared the front leg and smashed him straight down the ground for a gigantic six. The entire Ekana erupted and the shot made one individual so emotional that he started to cry as he expressed his emotions.

Pooran could have scored three back-to-back fifties in the ongoing IPL, but Chahal eventually took his revenge as the star spinner spun the web and dismissed him for 44 off 30 balls.

PBKS spin their web around LSG batters

LSG batters were superb against the SRH team in the last match, but everything changed against PBKS as wickets tumbled at regular intervals. Mitch Marsh was the first one to depart and Aiden Markram followed him soon after a brief cameo. Rishabh Pant had another flop show as the LSG captain scored just 2 runs and failed to deliver the goods.

At the moment, LSG are 140/5 inside 18 overs and they still have a chance to reach a respectable total.
