Yashasvi Jaiswal, thought to be India’s next big thing, had a poor outing with the bat in hand on Tuesday during their second T20I of the three-match series at St George's Park, Gqeberha. However, the 21-year-old did not fail to leave his mark on the field, although it was just one gesture from him that attracted a lot of attention.

Jaiswal is known for being one of the most aggressive batsmen on the field. Hence, irrespective of the situation, he tends to keep the opposition on the backfoot with a variety of gestures. Similarly, when Heinrich Klaasen, one of the most destructive batsmen in the world, departed cheaply against the Men in Blue, he gave him a classic send-off immediately after taking the catch.

And Mohammed Siraj was the one who got the taste of Klaasen’s success.

Chasing 152 in 15 overs in a rain-marred game, Klaasen did not have much to do with the bat after Reeza Hendricks and Aiden Markram set the platform. Yet he went to attack Siraj, only to see him lose his wicket after a miscued pull. Jaiswal made no mistake while taking a skier, and then he gave a flying kiss, although not directly towards the South African wicket-keeper.
