The moment things changed for Yashasvi Jaiswal (AP Photo)
In the 61st IPL game between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Chepauk, Yashasvi Jaiswal became the first player to succumb to the building pressure, as he departed after scoring 24 runs off 21 balls. Simarjeet Singh was smartly brought into the attack and he did not spare any chance to make the most of it by drawing the first blood.

Singh bowled a short of a length delivery outside the off-stump, Jaiswal cleared his front leg and went for a big pull however, he got a thick top edge of the bat and the ball went straight up in the air. CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad ran from the extra cover and adjusted himself well underneath the ball and catches it safely.
His one 136 kmph ball was enough to terrorize Yashasvi Jaiswal and the entire RR camp. As he played that shot, he probably knew that it was a bad one, because of his posture. He looked disheartened, he had hoped to make this count but unfortunately had to walk back.
At the time of writing, Simarjeet has once again provided CSK with a breakthrough as he sent Jos Buttler packing with RR at 56/2, he is replaced by Riyan Parag.
