Young batting sensation, Yashasvi Jaiswal brought the house down during the ongoing third Test against England in Rajkot by creating a moment that cricket fans will remember for years to come.

IND vs ENG: Jaiswal's hattrick of sixes against Anderson set Rajkot on fire

On the fourth day of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test, after a day's absence due to a back spasm, Yashasvi Jaiswal returned to the field with an unquenched thirst for runs. His return was timed perfectly after the dismissal of Shubman Gill, and what followed was an extraordinary exhibition of batting against one of the finest pacers in Test cricket history, James Anderson.

The Rajkot stadium was set ablaze in the 85th over when Jaiswal unleashed a hattrick of sixes against Anderson, sending the cricketing world into a frenzy. The first six was a stunning display of timing and precision. Facing a low full toss, Jaiswal leaned forward, executing a flawless sweep that sent the ball soaring over deep square leg. But he was far from done.

The second six was a result of Jaiswal's exceptional footwork as he danced down the track, turning a full and wide delivery into an opportunity to dispatch the ball over deep extra cover for another maximum. The climax of this thrilling over was the third six, where Jaiswal, with impeccable patience, waited for a length delivery outside off, then powerfully swatted it back over Anderson's head for a flat six.

The duo's partnership has been crucial in steering India towards a commanding lead of 484 runs, positioning them close to securing a 2-1 lead in the series.
