Virat Kohli, renowned for his exceptional athleticism in the Indian Cricket team, once again showcased his prowess during the 21st match of the World Cup 2023 against New Zealand.

India, with their impressive fielding, made significant inroads by claiming crucial Kiwi wickets. However, the defining moment of the match arrived in the 46.6th over when Bumrah dismissed Mark Chapman, caught brilliantly by Kohli. Chapman, who had previously performed well in earlier games, couldn't replicate his success today. Attempting a pull shot on a short ball, he mistimed it, and the ball seemed to be eluding Kohli.

Nonetheless, Kohli sprinted forward and executed a remarkable low catch, although it appeared that his spikes may have impeded his run-up slightly.

This was no ordinary catch, as the delivery was not just short but also a slower one. The batsman fell victim to the lack of pace, and Chapman departed having scored only 6 runs from 8 balls.

At the time of this report, the Kiwis were 260 for 8 in 48 overs, with Daryl Mitchell and Lockie Ferguson at the crease.
