It is fair to say that The Netherlands are all over the Bangla Tigers at the moment in their World Cup clash.

Bangladesh did well with the ball as they bundled out the Orange Army for just 229. However, as Bangladesh does often, they once again crumbled with the bat against a resurgent Dutch attack.

The team lost half the side for a paltry 69 on the board, with Paul van Meekeren doing most of the damage. The Netherlands pacer bowled with great accuracy to trouble the Bangladesh batters. His skillset was evident when he knocked over Mushfiqur Rahim's stumps with a pearler.

The wicket took place in the 18th over of the match, when Mushfiqur was still finding his feet at the crease. Meekeren bowled a good length ball outside the off and it nipped back in sharply. Perhaps the delivery took Mushfiqur by surprise as he tried to defend it, but failed in the process. Eventually the ball clipped the inside-part of the bat before knocking over the stumps.

There was a sense of joy on the face of Meekeren as he had scalped the most important wicket of the Bangla Tigers.

Talking about the contest, Bangladesh need a miracle to win the contest. With 6 wickets down, they need Mahmudullah Riyad to play another blinder for his side.
