Rishabh Pant played a match-winning knock against Pakistan on 9th of June and much was expected from him against USA too, when India lost Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli early. He did survive for 20 balls, but then an almost unplayable delivery by Ali Khan knocked him over.
It was the third delivery of the 8th over and Ali Khan came 'round the wicket against the left-handed Rishabh Pant. He bowled it at back of a length and angled it into Pant. The Southpaw tried to defend it from his crease, but the ball kept way too low and knocked over his stumps to leave Indian fans and even Rishabh Pant shell-shocked.

In contrast, USA fans were overjoyed and few of their female fans were quite ecstatic. The wicket of Rishabh Pant reduced India to 39-3 in the 8th over, and it would be interesting to see how their middle order responds on a tough pitch against a disciplined USA attack. Netravalkar was the wrecker-in-chief with the new ball and got both Virat and Rohit out, after USA posted 110 in the first half of the game.
