Fielding blunders are not new in the game of cricket. Every now and then, fielders make mistake which leads to extra runs taken.

One such incident occurred during the Women's Asia Cup match between Pakistan and UAE. The hilarious moment took place during Pakistan's batting, when Gul Feroza paddled a length delivery towards the fine leg region and called for a couple of runs.

Comedy of errors lead to fielding disaster

The fielder at short-fine, gave it a chase and for a brief moment it looked she will pull the ball back before it crosses the line. In-fact, the ball was in her hands closer to the boundary ropes when she suddenly slipped and allow the ball to go away from her grasp as it crossed the boundary line.

When only two runs were on offer, the fielder 'comically' allowed the ball to let it slip and gave away two more runs as frustration crept into the UAE camp.

Talking about the match, UAE batted first and scored 103/8 inside 20 overs. In reply, Pakistan women are 42/0 inside 6 overs, and a win will assure them of a place in the next round of the competition.

They will finish at the second place in the group, below the India women's team.
