[Watch] Temba Bavuma Gets Injured Badly While Stopping A Virat Kohli Drive

Temba Bavuma, the South Africa skipper is an injury prone cricketer and once again in the all-important Boxing Day Test match between India and South Africa, he has ended up injuring himself. 

The incident happened on the fourth delivery of the 20th over. Marco Jansen bowled a fullish delivery, around off and Kohli played his trademark cover drive. He did not timed it perfectly though and Bavuma at mid off chased the ball, he started off quickly but hurt his left hamstring in the process and ended up limping towards the ball.

He stopped the ball as Kohli took two runs but soon walked off the field after consultation with the physio. The extent of his injury is still unknown and South Africa would be hoping that it is nothing serious and their captain gets back on the field soon.

Dean Elgar took over the captaincy in the absence of Bavuma as South Africa try to break partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli who are looking good in the middle. India lost three wickets early with just 24 on the board but things are looking better for the visitors at the time of writing, and it promises to be quite an interesting Test match.
