It was a tough moment for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women (RCBW) in the ongoing Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 as their star all-rounder Sneh Rana suffered an injury scare in the match against Mumbai Indians Women. The game, currently happening at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai saw Rana putting up a valiant effort on the field only to injure her right shoulder.

Sneh Rana Suffers Horrific Shoulder Injury After Fielding Effort

Royal Challengers Bengaluru star Sneh Rana, a valuable asset on the field in all three departments, injured her right shoulder during the game.

It all happened on the final delivery of the eighth over bowled by Georgia Wareham, which was square driven superbly by MI skipper Harmanpreet Kaur to which Rana displayed her agility and ran from the sweeper cover position to dive to her left, but unfortunately, couldn't keep the ball in play as it raced away to the boundary.

However, things became ugly as she got up and was seen in visible pain holding her right shoulder while almost crying in pain. To this, the RCB physio ran onto the field and took Rana off the field of play as providing her immediate medical treatment.

However, despite getting injured, the good news for Indian and RCB fans is that Rana returned back onto the field soon and bowled the 14th over of the chase.

Before the injury, she bowled two overs while giving away just nine runs, whereas the all-rounder had already picked two wickets at that stage. Later, she completed her four over spell for 26 runs while picking three crucial wickets in the game.

RCB Put Daunting Target Of 200 On The Board

After being asked to bat first by MI Women, the RCB side were able to put up a massive total of 199 on the board, losing just three wickets in their 20 overs. Skipper Smriti Mandhana was the star of the show with 53 written after her name, while Ellyse Perry was equally brilliant with 49 not out.
