Smriti Mandhana made 45 off 31 balls on Friday when India met Pakistan in Match 2 of the Women's Asia Cup 2024 in Dambulla. The left-handed batter, more significantly, played a shot, which left even her partner-in-crime Shafali Verma in splits.

The shot came during the eighth over of India's innings when Mandhana toyed with Pakistan's Tuba Hassan with five fours in an over. Of them, one made a lot of headlines when Mandhana went across the line to play a ridiculous paddle shot for four runs.

While Tuba was in complete disbelief, Shafali and Mandhana were having a laugh. In fact, Shafali's reaction suggested how much they enjoyed after the shot the RCB captain hit against their arch-rivals.

Eventually, India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets, as they eased past Pakistan, getting a below-par 109-run target in just 14.1 overs. They are now ahead of Nepal, who have also won the match against the UAE, and are now second in Group A.

Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Thailand, who are in Group B, will be in action tomorrow.
