The match between Southern Brave women and Trent Rockets women is underway at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton. The Braves won the toss and asked the Rockets to bat first. 

The Nat Sciver-Brunt-led side got off to the worst possible start as the Rockets lost a wicket on the first ball. Smriti Mandhana stole the limelight after her brilliant fielding effort. 

On the very first ball of the game, opener Bryony Smith tried to steal a single, but Mandhana, who was around 20 yards away from the stumps, produced a sensational direct hit with just one stump to aim from that angle.

Smith was short of her ground and registered a golden duck, while the Southern Brave players surrounded Smriti and were elated over her brilliant fielding.

Smriti had a similar fate when she came to bat in her previous game after her innings ended prematurely after she got run out. The southpaw is not having a delightful season with the Brave and would look to turn things around today.
