Andre Russell is a fighter, and he is showing that yet again in the game between MI and KKR at Wankhede, when even after getting hurt, he decided to bowl for his team and got the big wicket of Hardik Pandya.

It was the second delivery of the 12th over and Mumbai Indians were five down with still 89 needed to win. They needed Hardik Pandya to support Jasprit Bumrah, but the torrid run of form for MI skipper continued as he ended up departing for just one. 

It was a shortish delivery angling on middle and Hardik Pandya tried to work it towards the leg side. However, the ball came slow off the deck and Hardik got a big leading edge and Manish Pandey at mid-wicket took an easy catch.

Earlier, Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. The bowlers responded quite well and cleaned up KKR for 169 with Jasprit Bumrah and Thushara taking three wickets apiece. In reply, Mumbai never got going and kept losing wickets at regular intervals with both Varun Chakaravarthy and  Sunil Narine bowling beautifully. 

At the time of writing, SKY is still there for MI and Tim David who walked out to the middle after Hardik's wicket would have to bat till the end with the Indian star to take MI over the line here.
