Suryakumar Yadav is arguably the best batter in T20 cricket currently and whichever team he plays for in T20 format, he is their main asset. The same applies to Mumbai Indians and the Indian team, and if he gets injured, both teams are bound to be in trouble.

In the MI-SRH game at Wankhede, the star batter was seen limping in pain during his fantastic lone-warrior century and it was enough to create anxiety among Indian cricket fans with T20 World Cup just around the corner.

SKY came into IPL 2024 after missing out on cricket for almost four months after being diagnosed with sports hernia and even missed initial three games of the season.

However, despite struggling and not moving swiftly as he usually does, SKY played a blinder of a knock, taking MI out of trouble after they were reeling at 31-3 at one point in time, and once again showed why he is one of the best in T20 cricket.

Earlier, SRH scored 173 while batting first with Travis Head scoring quickfire 48 at the top of the order and Cummins delivering finishing touches to take his team to a competitive total at a packed Wankhede.
