[Watch] Sikandar Raza's Brilliant Catch Helps Shaheen Afridi Enjoy Babar Azam's Wicket

Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam extended his outstanding form in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024, launching another brilliant innings to set the stage for his team against Lahore Qalandars. 

Babar Azam's aggressive batting saw him strike a series of boundaries, stopping just shy of fifty with 48 runs off 36 balls, featuring five boundaries, before falling prey to Lahore captain Shaheen Afridi. 

It all happened on the second delivery of the 15th over, as Shaheen Afridi bowled a short-of-length delivery to Babar Azam, who attempted a pull shot, but the ball found Sikandar Raza stationed at deep mid-wicket, where he completed an easy catch.

Partnering with opener Saim Ayub, Babar Azam orchestrated an outstanding 136-run stand, while Ayub notched up 88 runs from 55 deliveries, including eight boundaries and four sixes. 

On top of all that, the West Indies powerhouse Rovman Powell went on a rampage in Lahore, smashing 46 runs off just 20 balls, with five boundaries and two sixes, as Peshawar notched up a whopping 211 runs on the board.
