[Watch] Shardul Thakur Dismisses Anamul Haque With A Magical Delivery

Shardul Thakur has been one of the most consistent performers for India across formats from the last couple of years or so. He is a decent batter too and has played some quality knocks under pressure. However, the man somehow is never given credit for his performances and always flows under the radar.

The underrated hero is in action once again against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup game. He got an opportunity to open the bowling alongside Shami with Bumrah and Siraj resting and grabbed it with both hands, picking two wickets with the new ball, sending back Tanzid Hasan and Anamul Haque. 

He cleaned up Tanzid Hasan in the fourth over of the game and then with a short delivery got rid of Anamul Haque as Bangladesh were reduced to 28-3. Talking about the ball,  it was a touch shortish delivery on off. Anamul Haque tried to pull it. However, he got a huge top edge and the ball went slight behind square on the leg side. KL Rahul behind the stumps ran to his left and settled under it to take it comfortably.

Shami drew first blood with the wicket of Litton Das before Shardul took over and overall, India have started off with a bang in this final Super 4s game against Bangladesh.
