Shakib Al Hasan showed his fielding prowess in the GT20 Canada tournament by plucking a world-class catch to dismiss Marcus Stoinis.

It was the Bangla Tigers Mississauga skipper, Shakib, was at his imperial best against the opposition captain, Stoinis, when the latter miscued a heave and the former was there to take a stunning catch.

The dismissal came in the 8th over, when Curtis Campher bowled a full length delivery and Stonis wanted to smoke that out of the ground as he goes for a slog. The ball takes the top-edge and skies in the air. 

Shakib was stationed at mid-off when he charged towards his left and kept his eyes on the ball. The Bangladesh cricketer leaped in the air and stretched with a dive to pluck a stunning catch.

The Aussie all-rounder, Stoinis, had a poor outing as he could only manage a solitary run off 4 deliveries. The Shakib led Bangla Tigers restricted Stoinis' Surrey Jaguars to a paltry 108/8. Keeper-batter Shreyas Movva, was the highest run-scorer, with 21 runs.

In reply, the Bangla Tigers chased down the target with 2 wickets in hand. Skipper Shakib was the star with the bat, scoring vital 36 runs.
