Pakistan's experienced fast bowler Shaheen Afridi had a memorable outing with the ball in the second ODI of the ongoing three-match series against South Africa. The left-arm pacer dismantled the South African batting unit with his razor-sharp bowling, registering a clinical four-wicket haul in the high-voltage affair.

Hailed for his exceptional swing bowling, Shaheen Afridi began his onslaught on the Proteas by dismissing experienced finisher David Miller. From over the wicket, Shaheen bowled a good length delivery which jagged back into the left-handed batter after pitching around the off stump.

As the batter got stuck in the crease, the ball took a thin inside edge off his bat, with Pakistan's wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan taking a sharp catch behind the stumps. As soon as Rizwan grabbed the ball, the Pakistani players, including Afridi, appealed for a caught behind. However, the on-field umpire's not out decision forced Rizwan to go upstairs and challenge the call.

The TV umpire detected a clear spike in the ultra-edge, eventually asking his on-field colleague to overturn his decision. As a result, Shaheen bagged his first wicket of the day, getting rid of the well-set Miller at a crucial juncture.

Pakistan Clinch ODI Series With Another Clinical Win

Led by Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan outclassed South Africa across departments, steamrolling them in the second consecutive match of the series. Batting first, the visitors posted a whopping 329-run total, riding on a stupendous collective batting effort. In response, the Proteas were bowled out for 248 runs, losing the game by 81 runs.
