Shaheen Afridi is one of the finest fast bowlers in world cricket currently and whenever he takes the field there are expectations that he will deliver. 

So, when Lahore Qalandars needed an early wicket in their third match, the captain Shaheen Afridi delivered and got the big wicket of Reeza Hendricks to put his team ahead after Zaman Khan drew first blood in the form of Dawid Malan.

Lahore Qalandars scored 166 while batting first and Multan Sultans who would have hope to start off well, lost two wickets in the Powerplay courtesy of Zaman Khan and Shaheen Afridi as mentioned earlier.

Shaheen got the better of Reeza Hendricks in the 3rd over when he bowled a fullish delivery, outside off. It was in the slot for Reeza Hendricks and he hit his drive off the middle of his blade, however, he smashed it bit uppishly and ended up hitting it straight to Fakhar Zaman at covers, who took a sharp catch.

Shaheen Afridi's form is crucial for Lahore Qalandars as the defending champions have started off on a bad note with two consecutive losses. They are a champion team though with plenty of quality players and we can expect them to make a strong comeback.
