On Tuesday, Indian opener, Shafali Verma continued her exploits in the shortest format of the game as she slammed her 10th half century in T20Is against Nepal Women in the Women's Asia Cup match at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla.

An excellent part of this achievement was that she just took 26 balls to reach this milestone and smashed numerous boundaries and biggies to achieve this feat in such quickfire notice.

Shafali, has undeniably had a great tournament, she has time and again provided her team with good starts and today out of all the games in this must-win clash she registered a fifty.

Interestingly, just a couple of deliveries earlier, Shafali pulled out a rocket hit to slam her first maximum of the match.  In the sixth over the bowler tossed up an outside off delivery, Shafali leaned forward and slog sweeped it from the meat of the bat and the ball flew over the deep mid-wicket for a biggie. The maximum was so beautifully executed that it almost reminded us of Rohit Sharma.

Meanwhile, India Women are at 122/1. Winning this clash is necessary for the Woman in Blue as it would lock them a semi-final spot. If they fail to do so there are chances that the defending champions could be knocked out.
