On the eve of the auspicious Guru Purnima Mahotsav, T20 World Cup champion Kuldeep Yadav sought blessings at the revered Bageshwar Dham Sarkar in Madhya Pradesh. Notably, Kuldeep is very spiritual and is often seen worshipping God at numerous holy sites and temples.

In the video doing rounds on social media, Kuldeep is seen taking the blessings of guru Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and sitting beside him.

The 29-year-old spinner had a remarkable run during the T20 WC, proving to be a significant asset for Team India in the West Indies leg of the tournament. His role as a genuine wicket-taker, securing ten wickets, was a big reason India won the game without facing defeat.

During a recent interview he dedicated the trophy to now ed-T20I skipper, Rohit Sharma and said:

"This World Cup was for him, the way he planned and the way he loved this team. The intent and approach that he used to talk about in team meetings, he implemented that in the tournament while batting, led from the front. So this trophy is for him. In the final Virat bhai hit the 70-odd runs, won the player of the match. I am sure he will be very happy with his career in the T20 format, same for Rohit bhai. Jadeja as well, he played such brilliant cricket over the years."

With his exceptional performance, Kuldeep has left an indelible mark in the T20 WC, securing a spot for the upcoming SL tour.
