Sandeep Sharma has bowled brilliantly in IPL 2024 despite an injury forcing him to miss few games. He started brilliantly against LSG as well at Ekana and cleaned up the centurion from the last game, Marcus Stoinis with an absolute beauty.

It was the last delivery of the second over of the match and Sandeep Sharma bowled a fullish delivery. It started from around off and swung in sharply into Marcus Stoinis as the ball sneaked between his bat and pad to knock over the middle stump.

It was a big blow to LSG who were already coping up with the wicket of Quinton de Kock in the first over and RR once again showed why they have the most balanced team in this season. Earlier, Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bowl first on a good batting deck, hoping that his bowlers will strike with the new ball, and they have done exactly that. 

LSG though have depth in their squad and it would be interesting to see how RR bowlers go about their business at the death, if the likes of Nicholas Pooran and KL Rahul are set at that time.
