Virat Kohli seems to be intrigued by Delhi Capitals’ batting blitzkrieg against Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in match number 43 of the IPL 2024 season. The RCB veteran was spotted watching the proceedings from his handset while he was eating lunch on April 27 at a team hotel.

At the time, Kohli was in Ahmedabad alongside the rest of his RCB colleagues before heading out for an extensive training session.

Virat Kohli is currently in Ahmedabad alongside the rest of his RCB teammates for their forthcoming IPL 2024 duel against hosts Gujarat Titans. 

A day prior to their much-awaited clash, the cricketer was spotted watching Delhi Capitals’ home fixture against Mumbai Indians on his handset.

A passerby in the hotel recorded Kohli watching the game as the cricketer was eating lunch prior to RCB’s training session. Virat Kohli recently punched out a match-winning half-century against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Hyderabad on April 25. His innings extended his IPL 2024 tally to 430 runs with an average of over 61, as he continues to hold the coveted ‘Orange Cap’ of the season.

Kohli and the rest of his RCB teammates are bracing themselves for their next IPL 2024 challenge against a formidable Gujarat Titans line-up. Currently placed at the bottom of the IPL 2024 points table, the Faf du Plessis-led RCB group need to topple the Titans in a bid to climb up the 10-team ladder.

A win at this stage of the tournament might well sustain their outside chances of securing a playoffs spot, at least for another day.
