Sakshi Dhoni, the wife of MS Dhoni, was in the stands on Sunday at MA Chidambaram Stadium to join the Yellow Army when they were up against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 46 of IPL 2024. And the former CSK skipper did not disappoint her, as he played a superb four on his first delivery off T Natarajan during the last over of CSK's innings.

Dhoni came to bat at No. 5 when CSK lost their skipper, Ruturaj Gaikwad. The 27-year-old missed out on a well-deserved century, having departed for a 54-ball 98 to Natarajan. However, the crowd went mad when Dhoni walked into the middle, as their beloved ageless 'Thala' has been providing them with continuous success ever since the tournament's beginning.

It was a low full-toss by Natarajan, and Dhoni was well inside the crease while playing it. Abhishek Sharma put on a desperate dive, but it was not enough to stop the boundary.

CSK, riding on Shivam Dube's quickfire 20-ball 39 not out, finished with 212/3, with Gaikwad top-scoring with a magnificent knock. Dhoni, on the other hand, remained unbeaten on 5 off 2 balls.
