Sajid Khan has been a revelation ever since the Pakistan curators have started to design spin friendly surfaces across different venues. He was instrumental in Test success Vs England last year, and continued the good work in the ongoing series vs the visiting West Indian side. He dominated them in the first Test at Multan, and continued to weave his magic in the second game as well.
The wily spinner picked up 2 wickets in the first innings, and was also the chief tormentor in the second innings as he, alongside spin partner, Noman Ali kept Pakistan in the contest. The highlight of his brilliant spell in the second innings came when he knocked over Kevin Sinclair around his legs and gave an animated death stare.
Sajid Khan came around the wicket to the right-hander and bowled an off-break, which pitched middle and leg and drifted away to castle the stumps. The West Indian batter couldn't get a bat to it as the ball shattered the stumps.
After dismissing the batter, Sajid Khan looked pumped up and gave a stare to the batter as he walked back to the pavilion.
West Indies in driving seat on Day 2
West Indies are in the driving seat on Day 2 of the second Test match. Despite getting all-out for a mere 163 in the first innings, their bowlers managed to knock over the hosts for a paltry 154 runs.
In the second innings, the hosts showcased brilliant display with the bat and have taken a lead of 242 runs, which could be the difference as Pakistan batters have generally struggled chasing big totals in the 4th innings.
