[Watch] Rohit Sharma ‘Furious’ After Dragging A Nothing Delivery Onto Stumps

Rohit Sharma continued his good-old form on Sunday (October 22) as well during India’s high-octane World Cup match against New Zealand in Dharamsala. However, the 36-year-old failed to convert his start into anything substantial, and he only had himself to blame.

It was Lockie Ferguson’s first ball of the day, which seemed like a warm-up delivery by the Kiwi pacer. The ball was short and outside the off stump, which Rohit, batting on 46 off 40 balls, tried to drive with little footwork.

As the elegance was not there as we often see from Rohit, the ball went on to uproot the middle stump.

While Lockie was pumped after getting Rohit's wicket, the Indian skipper was absolutely disgusted with himself for throwing his wicket away in that manner.

At the time of writing, heavy fog interrupted the game in Dharamsala. The Men in Blue, chasing 274, have posted 100/2 after 15.4 overs, with Shreyas Iyer going strong on 21* off just 9 balls. Virat Kohli, from another end, is on 7* off 14 balls, as India are inching closer for a convincing victory.
