In the ongoing fifth and final T20I match between India and Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe won the toss and invited Shubman Gill and Co. to bat first.

The Men in Blue have already clinched the series 3-1 with a win in the last match and are playing the game for pride. However, Indian openers failed to perform and build momentum as Zimbabwe came up with better plans today and reduced India to 44/3 at the end of the powerplay.

India despite losing wickets at regular intervals, Sanju Samson along with Riyan Parag tried to rebuild a partnership and steady India's innings.

The highlight of Riyan Parag's innings was when he smashed the ball for a huge six to Brandon Mavuta in the 10th over of the Indian innings. Brandon Mavuta offered a short delivery, and Parag capitalized with a powerful pull shot that cleared the mid-wicket boundary with exceptional ease.

The 107-meter six landed on the roof of the Harare Sports Club before finding its way back down.

A promising start by Riyan Parag was unfortunately cut short as he was dismissed for 22 runs off 24 balls in the 15th over.

Earlier, India's innings witnessed a string of early setbacks. Yashasvi Jaiswal, despite starting with a six, departed in the first over itself. This was followed by the wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill, putting India in a slightly precarious position.
