The intensity of the Indian Premier League often brings out the passion of the cricketers on the field. Crucial decisions especially when the game is balanced bring out the raw emotions of the players.

Such a thing was witnessed in the ongoing IPL match between RR and KKR at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, Assam. Notably, KKR won the toss for this game and sent the Royals to bat. The Riyan Parag-led side struggled but found their way to post 151 runs on the board.

Quinton de Kock Emerges As KKR's Game Changer

In the chase, the Knight Riders had a steady start despite losing the wicket of Moeen Ali early. It was Quinton de Kock who held one end and propelled the Royals towards the win. In the 10th over of the chase, Maheesh Theekshana got a chance to pick up the wicket of de Kock, which could have changed the complexion of the game. However, the Decision Review System ruled it in favour of the batter.

Riyan Parag Expresses Frustation At DRS Decision

The Sri Lankan mystery spinner bowled a shortish delivery at the leg stump line. Quinton de Kock rocked back to his back foot and tried to pull the ball but missed it. It was wrapped on the batter's pad and there was a huge appeal for the leg before. The umpire raised the finger but the batter immediately reviewed the decision and the ball tracking showed that the ball was not hitting the stumps.

As the not out was shown on the board, the standing captain of RR, Riyan Parag was seen expressing his frustration at the decision. The skipper felt that his bowler was hard done by the what the DRS showed on the screen.
